Digital Sniper guy! Concept by Benjamin Louis! Excited to take this one to a full finish within the next 10 weeks. With a full animation, dynamics I’ve already worked out, sculpted jacket and bullet belt, and of course fully textured and lit. :D Keep an eye out for the final product!

The Cord Hayes L-29 Coupe! Modeled in Maya. Hardsurface 2 midterm. This bad boy was a lot of fun. I think I’ll wait to pull this model in and use it as practice for renderman, when it becomes accessible to students! :D Yaar

Practicing some light matching on basic polys. This was kind of addicting-ly fun.

Jellyfish! Original concept by the amazing Ryan Hall!  I modeled this in Maya, textured in Mari, and did post in PS. Used it for my final for Texture and Shading 2, and Hard Surface 1 final. Hope you enjoy!

My Intro to Maya final for Gnomon! I was very happy with how it came out. This is based off of concept art done by Ivan Ovsyannikov. My school also picked it for their Student Gallery of 2014, so now it’s printed and hanging on a wall for a few months! Super proud and feeling strong going into the new term, with more great concept to work with!

It’s definitely been awhile since I posted! Sadly I haven’t updated it with some of my finals from last term! The top is a key frame we were required to make between the two characters we had designed previously. I found the piece to be fun and challenging all at once, but I’m happy with the result!

Of course I wanted to go back and refine my little tiki-spider some more, so I brought him to a nice finish!

Another 3D piece with Maya. The models are not mine, but the rest I did. We were provided a room that we had to texture, light and render, for my texture and shading class :) It’s not due for a couple more weeks, so I’ll probably just keep tweaking it!

My first Maya piece at Gnomon! :) Intro to Maya, midterm. Pretty happy with the results, considering it’s been a few years since I last opened the program and learned a bunch of new things! Everything was made by me. Modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering. :) I’m excited for the next year and a half of school! Oh the things I will learn!

Some quick character mock ups for my advanced digital painting class. Eventually we’ll be putting them into an environment for our final :)
